BEM + MEG SDE

Ceremony: San Sebastian Church
Reception: La Castellana

When Meg emailed me inquiring about my packages, I crossed my fingers hoping they would decide to have me as their wedding videographer since they will be my first client from Riyadh.  When Meg finally made the arrangement for our meet, I went to our meeting place armed with courage and of course my trusty laptop ready to present my life’s work, never knowing that even before we met, they have already decided to avail my service.

The first time I met Bem and Meg, I was a little wary, expecting them to have unreasonable requests, but I was mistaken. They are the most down to earth person I have ever met; they trusted me to do what I do best and did not make any demands that are beyond what I can do.  Their only request is for me to make their wedding unforgettable, and I did, and so much more, I hope. =)
Bem and Meg, you are truly an amazing couple, until this time I’m still wondering why the two of you chose me as your videographer knowing you have the means to look for more experienced and known people in the wedding industry. My co-supplier for the wedding are among others, Metrophoto (Oly Ruiz), Ernest Pascual (Events! Events!), Madge Lejano (The Make Up Studio), Dylan Gozum (Vatel Manila).

Whatever your reasons, I can’t thank you enough for the friendship, for trusting me, and for giving me the opportunity to be part of your wedding.
See you soon =)

PHILIP AND RUBY SDE

Reception: The Blue Leaf
Photographer: Erron Ocampo
HMU:  Jesy Alto-Ocampo

Not long ago I was an instrument in capturing on video my friend’s (AJ and Nikki) wedding. It was an unforgettable and liberating experience for me and my friends, not to mention the incomparable tension of not making any mistakes because it is the wedding of one of my oldest friends.

Now it is Philip and Ruby’s wedding.  Philip and I are best of friends since high school. So given our history and the long friendship that we had, I experienced again the tension and pressure of wanting a friends’ wedding become perfect and momentous, but this time I am armed with the lesson of many previous weddings not to mention my own one. =)

I also learned that there is no price for the experience of witnessing and being part of one of your friends’ most memorable moment.
The hardest part of it all is that I’m the Best Man as well as the Videographer. Well, just watch their video and see how I’ve accomplish this.  Enjoy. =)

KRIS + LIZ SDE {a videographer’s wedding}

Since the day my then fiancée and I announced that we are getting married, everyone, most especially the people in the industry; videographer, photographer, and friends alike were asking who will shoot my wedding day.  To tell you the truth, that question was a big puzzle for me also. Fortunately, my fiancée was very candid and relaxed about the matter, she did not ask me who I like to shoot in our wedding, and she left that matter for me to decide since she was not very familiar with my line of work.

About a month before the wedding, we did the pre-nup, it was the only time that the matter of who our photographer and videographer would be was brought up. I was able to finally form a team that would cover our wedding.

Wedding day  10.14.10.

I could not sit still, my parents especially my mom was asking me not to cry during the ceremony, I was continuously assuring her that I will not cry.

3:00pm in the afternoon, I was in the car with my best man, and as we were joking around, he kept reminding me not to cry, and I in turn kept assuring him that I wouldn’t cry.

4:02pm: Everyone was finally in their respective seats and we were waiting for my Bride to walk down the aisle. I was craning my head because I couldn’t see my Bride amongst all the photographers, videographers, and personal assistant that are crowded at the center of the aisle. When I finally got a glimpse of my Bride, I could not restrain myself, I said to my best man “t@ng#a  bok hindi ko kaya”, before I burst into tears..

No one can compare the feeling of seeing your Bride walk down the aisle, knowing that she will be yours forever..

There are no perfect wedding, only perfect couple..

Please enjoy watching our SDE..

To our friends in the industry and everyone who find time to witness our union, we cannot thank you enough.. =)
