I had a lot of qualms doing this wedding shoot..
first because both the bride and groom are born and raised in canada (nosebleed)..
secondly I was having a hard time figuring out what song is best
suited for the client.. and to top it all off, the father of the bride
is a prof. photographer.. whew.. talk about nerve wracking..
much to my surprise, when we arrived at the hotel, the bride was all
smile and the groom was wearing chucks on his suit!!!
that’s the reason why even after we’re all done with the wedding shoot I’m still
singing ah ah ah ah ah ah ah……

When one of your closest childhood friend gets married, it’s a must to be involved, especially in my case. AJ and Nikki’s wedding is the second wedding in our group, and of course I had to be there to get it all on tape. Here is the video of my friends AJ and Nikki, shot and edited on the same day of their wedding.
Congratulations to the two of you!
Launching a brand new business is never easy, especially if you don’t know where to start. Thankfully, I was able to get my first coverage quite easily, thanks to some friends. :)
The wedding was held on one of the hot weeks of January, just as everyone was thinking that the cool weather is gone and summer has come to grace the Philippines early. However, since everything was done in Tagaytay, we did not have to suffer through the heat.
It was interesting to see two different nationalities get together in one event. Koos’ relatives flew all the way from their home land to witness his union with Sheryl. I think they were also enchanted by the beautiful place and the beautiful couple. ;)
Koos and Sheryl also have the coolest wedding souvenir that I have seen in the last few years that I have been doing weddings. You’ll see what I mean when you watch the video. :)
The video was shot at Sonya’s Garden, Caleruega and Splendido, using Sony FX-1000 and FX-1. Wedding photos were done by Rich Castro, Aldwin Aspillera and Shaira Luna (yes, the Promil kid ;) ).
Whether you’re Dutch or Filipino, I hope you enjoyed the video! :)
